ADOPT A CAT INC.

SAVING THE WORLD...ONE CAT AT A TIME

We're a non-profit, no kill Cat Sanctuary.

Founded in 1994 by Dr. Beverly Harper PhD, MPH who had a vision of a safe place for the forgotten cats of Houston to rest their weary paws and wait for their destined people to find them and take them home.

ADOPTION LOCATIONS

Our Home Base: 17319 Bamwood Dr. Houston, TX 77090 ( Open 7 days a week, 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.)

Our adoption fee for all cats is $50, with one exception: Senior citizens (60+) who want to adopt a cat 7 years old or older can do so for FREE.

We accept Cash, Checks, PayPal, or Cash App. And of course you get their medical file for your vet records. All of our friendly felines are indoor only and can't wait to meet you! (When coming to adopt it's important to bring a carrier to take your new best friend home in.)

Black and White Kitten

As you can imagine, being a non-profit has it's own issues. We are always in need of volunteers, donations, fosters, or just about any help we can receive. We are always grateful for any donation and have even had the opportunity to do a fundraiser with the help of the local Girl Scout troupe!

Please consider supporting our cause by making a donation. Just know, that every cent raised will help us continue saving cats in the community.

Please feel free to take a look at our wish lists.
